For Aviation Employers

Get your techs FAA A&P certified in 2 weeks. Or hire ours.

Send your uncertified maintainers — military veterans, experienced mechanics, new hires — and we send them back ready to sign off. $5,000 per person. No contracts. No minimums. An unfilled A&P seat costs $100K+ a year. Fix it in two weeks.

The Problem

You have the people. They just need the certificate.

You've got experienced maintainers on your team — or candidates ready to hire — who can't legally sign off on work because they don't have their FAA A&P. We fix that.

The certification bottleneck

You've got techs with real-world experience — military veterans, hands-on maintainers, skilled workers — but without the FAA certificate, they can't sign off. Traditional A&P schools take 18–24 months. You don't have that time.

The shortage is getting worse

Boeing projects 710,000 new maintenance technicians needed globally by 2044. 35% of current FAA-certified AMTs are over 62. The traditional pipeline can't keep up. You need a faster path.

Every uncertified tech costs you

An experienced maintainer without an A&P is limited in what they can do. They can't sign off on inspections. They can't work unsupervised on return-to-service items. You're paying for capability you can't fully deploy.

Traditional schools take too long

Most A&P programs are 18–24 months. Your techs are ready now — they have the experience, they have the knowledge. They just need focused exam prep and the FAA paperwork. That's what we do in about two weeks.

How It Works

Three steps from uncertified to signing off

1

Send us your people

Tell us how many techs you need certified and their background. Military maintainers, experienced mechanics, new hires who qualify — we'll vet each one and get them scheduled.

2

We prep them for the FAA exams

Intensive, focused A&P exam prep — writtens, orals, and practicals. No 18-month program. About two weeks of concentrated preparation.

3

Certified tech back on your floor

Your technician returns with a valid FAA A&P certificate. Fully authorized to sign off on maintenance, inspections, and return-to-service. Ready to work at full capacity.

Two Ways to Work with Us

Certify your people. Or hire ours.

For Volume & Partnerships

Sending more than 10 techs? Let's talk.

Per-seat pricing above works for 1–10 techs self-serve. For bigger operations, a 20-minute workforce call scopes the real deal around your floor — cohort timing, volume pricing, retainers, and partnership structure.

The partnerships that prove the model

"We built a military transition program at Allegiant and partnered with Code 1 to certify and place transitioning veterans into our maintenance operation. It works. Joe's team is the real deal."

Jason

Program Director, Allegiant Air

"We had three experienced maintainers who couldn't sign off because they didn't have their A&P. Code 1 got all three certified in two weeks. Now they're fully productive. Best investment we made this year."

Director of Maintenance

Regional MRO — Southeast

"$5K per person to turn an uncertified tech into a fully licensed A&P mechanic? Compared to 18 months of school or the cost of leaving seats uncovered, it's a no-brainer. We're sending more people next quarter."

Common Questions

What employers ask us most

Who qualifies for the 2-week program?

Anyone who meets FAA eligibility under 14 CFR 65.77 — typically military maintainers with qualifying aviation experience, or civilian technicians who've logged enough practical hours under a certified mechanic. If you're not sure whether your techs qualify, reach out and we'll tell you for free.

What's the pass rate?

90% first-attempt FAA pass rate across 9,000 students since 2018. Robertson — the Army National Guard A&P instructor in Marana, AZ — backs that number on the Stories page. We don't rush anyone through; if a tech needs extra prep time, they get it.

Can we send multiple techs at once?

Absolutely. Send one or twenty. Same $5,000 per person. We run cohorts regularly — for larger groups we'll work with you on scheduling to minimize operational disruption.

What if we need certified techs but don't have candidates?

We source from our pipeline of transitioning military aviation maintainers. We certify them through our program and introduce them to your operation ready to work. Same price — $5,000 per person.

Are there contracts or minimums?

No. No contracts. No minimums. No retainers. Pay per seat. If it works, send more. If it doesn't, you walked away at $5K for a certified mechanic — still a win.

Will you partner on a military transition program?

Yes. We already do — Allegiant Air is one example, the Army National Guard A&P course in Marana is another. If you want a structured veteran hiring pipeline built into your maintenance operation, book a call and let's build it.

Every uncertified tech is $100K+ a year you're leaving on the floor.

$5,000 per person. About 2 weeks per tech. No contracts, no minimums. Run the math, then book the call.
